- pylori Causes
- pylori infection is caused by bacteria living in the stomach, and major H. pylori causes include contaminated water and food. Poor hygiene conditions, untreated water and fecal contamination are some of H. pylori causes- rendering H. pylori contagious. The bacteria are also passed from one individual to another, through direct contact with vomit, stool, or saliva. As the bacteria can spread through kissing, crowded conditions, and handshake if hands are not washed properly – all the conditions make H. pylori contagious.
