Human babies take around 38 weeks (266 days) to fully develop inside the womb. However, a healthy full-term pregnancy can be around 37 to 42 weeks long. If you are aware of the ovulation date, just enter the date and calculator will present the estimated date of delivery. Due Date Calculator IVF
If you had an IVF, provide the date of transfer along with the age of embryo on the day of transfer (usually day 3 or day 5 embryos are transferred). As IVF includes medically assisted conception, the healthcare provider knows exactly when you conceived, and hence due date calculator IVF can provider more accurate results as compared to other methods.
Generally, following methods are used for calculating estimated due date for IVF:
- IVF with your eggs- with or without ICSI- date of egg retrieval plus 38 weeks (266 days).

- Donor embryo cycle (fresh)- date of egg retrieval plus 38 weeks (266 days).

- Fresh embryo transfer using 5th day embryo- date of transfer + 38 weeks (266 days) minus 5 days (for blastocyst). If blastocysts are older than 5 days, their age must be subtracted for accurate calculation.

To use due date calculator by ultrasound, enter the date on which ultrasound was performed, combined with the fetal age (number of weeks and days). In the first trimester, ultrasound scan will show the actual age of fetus, which can be 3-4 days more or less than the expected gestational age. Generally, the fetal age assists in determining estimated due date more accurately as compared to the gestational age.
